Why's "happily ever after" always portrayed because the guy getting the girl or the other way around? Despite the insistence of that ending within our popular culture, in real life it isn't really always meant to be. Yet lots of are going to sacrifice an excessive amount of making it so or conserve the illusion. Just like countless other idealizations, this concept serves only to make people frustrated and unhappy when their story is a thing else entirely.

The Asian woman is just not big-breasted. Many African women are 'traditionally' built. And many in the world's human population is naturally dark-haired. Yet American culture has dictated that that need considering attractive and lovable, you have to have large breasts, a slim build and blond hair: Barbie. I cannot quote statistics to you -- just look around. Reality begs to differ.

And the most our female population is programmed to believe they may be hopeless for the desirability scale and believing that whenever they don't turn themselves into this preposterous ideal they'll never know love or success, or why not be 'happy.' It's grotesque -- and benefits just the advertising media and people who peddle the products one 'must' must attain this contrived goal. Even Dove's so-called Real Beauty campaign glamorizes the women it celebrates as an alternative to celebrating the wonder that is a woman that knows her authentic self -- and allows it to shine.

So too the 'pursuit of happiness' -- a disorder dictated in our very Constitution -- can be a set-up for disappointment. What were our Founding Fathers thinking after they coined such a phrase and perpetrated a real concept? Perhaps they recognized that by creating this carrot-on-a-stick enticement they would build a society of rats on the treadmill, perpetually pursuing an unattainable goal, yet performing the jobs of fine little workers from the machine of Commerce.

The complete concept of 'happiness' as a goal is fallacy. Happiness will be a choice, produced by one filled with Gratitude, or random and conditional: thoughts that arises occasionally caused by a set of circumstances from the environment.

The problem is, were convinced that satisfaction, like love, originates from the outside in, once the truth is just the opposite: Whenever we depend upon others for love we're going to always be lacking. Along with the same is true when we rely upon circumstances for satisfaction.
